Aiken Historical Museum ~ date to be assigned
Aiken Historical Museum is looking for volunteers to do light cleaning. ANC has volunteered to assist with this endeavor in October. Once a date has been assigned, members will be contacted and asked to sign up if interested.
Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Center
Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Center (OLVCC) is looking for volunteers in the following categories: Caseworkers, Receptionist & Voicemail Persons, GED Tutors, and Food Pantry Helpers.
OLVCC is a rural multipurpose community center established to minister to the needs of the poor in Horse Creek Valley, Aiken County, SC. They currently provide financial assistance for utility and medication (Monday, Wednesday & Friday by appointment only), food pantry (Monday, Wednesday & Friday 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.) and GED Program (Tuesday & Thursday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.), as well as a sub-site for the Aiken Area Council on Aging Senior Program (5 days a week from 9 a.m. to noon. If you are interested in volunteering your time to this organization, please contact Ms. Joely Leguizamon, site administrator. Her phone number is 803-270-4646. NOTE: Veterans do not come to Aiken July - September as our hot summers are not good for the horses.
